Our village shop and post office closed
in June 2007 Welney is now provided with an "outreach service" - a mobile post office visits each week-day from 3.05-3.50pm (subject to change), operating at the Lamb & Flag car park in Main Street. It offers a wide range of postal services and the van has an access lift at the back to assist elderly or disabled customers. There are full-time sub-post offices at Manea, Upwell & Littleport. Letters can be posted locally at collection boxes around the parish. The latest collection time is currently 4.45pm at the Forty Road/March Road junction at Tipps End.
