Kart race meetings are held each month between April and October at Manea Runs off the B1098 just inside the Welney parish boundary - see map on right. There is ample free off-road parking and no admittance charge for spectators. A burger bar, refreshments and toilets are available on site.

The events are run by the Wisbech & District Kart Racing Club, one of the oldest karting clubs in the country. They have about 100 members ranging from eight to eighty and have held regular meetings for over 50 years, although only in Welney since Aug 2005.

The club leases the 12 acre site from the Bishops Land Charity and by so doing has enabled the Charity Trustees to provide a small annual payment each December to pensioners in the Parish of Welney.

The club secured grants from Fenland Enterprise and the Community Grant Scheme Regeneration Facility to enable it to lease and maintain the site and acquire a better trackside caravan for the race officials.

All meetings are covered by Ambu-Kare (UK).
