Welney Friendship Club

 

The Friendship Club for the over 60s meet in the Parish Hall on alternate Tuesdays at 1.30pm finishing at around 3.30 or 3.45pm. Contact Cissie Bedford on 01354 610 206 for further details.

The club also has regular outings. During the summer of 2006 the club has been to Wicksteed Park where lunch was followed by a concert, then a cream tea; to Stratford upon Avon; and to Stamford for lunch, then on to the gardens at Barnsdale, created by the late TV gardening presenter Geoff Hamilton.
